Introduction: All photographers are unique and have their own style of shooting and editing. I try and capture real, raw moments and like to keep to a more "clean" editing style. I do not want my images to be over-edited. I want my clients to look like themselves- not transformed due to editing. I will fix blemishes and such as needed, but do not like to enhance eye color or change other physical attributes. I love meeting new people and making friends in the process. My goal is to provide you with beautiful photos that you will cherish forever. There is nothing better than hearing how much my clients loved their photos. I have received many emails from clients saying that they were speechless, cried or cannot stop looking at their photos. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that my photos were able to cause these emotions!

We were very pleased with the creative work Courtney provided. I am more of a traditionalist and feel a lot of the trendy photos produced currently lack the ability to become classic keepsakes. Courtney was able to blend our traditional desires with more modern concepts thus producing images that not only felt classic but also blended some modern touches making them feel fresh while staying to true to our classic desires. I highly recommend her; she is patient and considerate and we will definitely continue to use her in the future.

Courtney has taken photos for my daughter's first birthday, as well as beautiful fall family photos. Both times we were very impressed with the pictures. I love the unposed moments she caught. She is flexible, patient, and has a natural eye for photography!

Courtney took some family pics, and 2 year pics for my son back in May. She made it a very friendly and easy session. She was amazing with my son. The pictures came out amazing. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to take classes on lighting, positioning, editing, etc. There is always something to learn and always something to improve on!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love taking photos and almost always have my camera with me. Family and friends started to continuously ask me to do photos for them so I decided to start a business and see how it went! I did 72 sessions my first year and have enjoyed every minute of it!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at their work before you hire someone. All photographers have their own unique shooting and editing style and it's important to find one that you love. While one photographer might be "the one" for one person, they will not be "the one" for someone else.
