FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to have a "fixed" price for a web site design because each project is different in terms of size and scope. However, I always speak with the client prior to project commencement, in order to determine the scope of the project and to provide a project cost or cost range, and I always stay on target with the final billing. If, after project commencement, the client requests additional functionality or expands the scope of the project, we would discuss any price ramifications at that time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer is always welcome to be as involved as they desire. Some people are "hands off" while others like to be closely involved in the design process. I welcome any input from the client because, after all, this is their web site and it needs to reflect their company's image.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved in web site design since the mid-1990's and established my business in 2002... so I have significant experience within my field. Prior to this, I received a bachelor's degree in Business Economics and worked in marketing and design for 10 years.
