Working with Castro Design has been an absolute pleasure and a game changer for our home. We had a significant water event in 2023 that wiped out our master and master bath, entire kitchen, flooring on the whole main floor as well as other damage. The restoration process had been frustrating, and one of the biggest gaps was trying to find a way to put things back together cohesively. Nobody seemed to be able to really help us in that area and we were frankly lost, until we met with Sarah. From the very first conversation it was clear we had found someone exceptionally talented, skilled, and thoughtful. Every design decision was rooted in both creativity and practicality, and the results speak for themselvesour space is not only stunning, but it truly reflects how we live and what we value.Our consult and engagement with Sarah has been entirely virtual. Her ability to envision spaces, coordinate colors and identify complimentary materials without having to be on-site is remarkable. At no time did we feel like we were missing out because we live in different states; she is exceptionally observant, responsive and made herself available for any questions or ideas whenever we needed it.Sarah brought an extraordinary level of talent, professionalism and resourcefulness to the entire project. Whether solving tricky layout challenges or sourcing just the right materials, she was consistently three steps ahead, always thinking through every detail with care. Sarah gets it done - nothing was overlooked. Every element, from the big-picture design vision to the smallest of finishing touches, was handled with such diligence and intention.What impressed us most is her follow-through. You can see it evidenced on the website; all the information you need for a successful project is there, especially fees, which are more than reasonable. In contrast, we knew exactly what we were paying for with Castro Design based on what is identified on the site, and further, Sarah went the extra mile to track down material quality in person, ask poignant and clarifying questions when needed, and simply did not stop until she got it just right. We were blown away by her ability to listen deeply and translate our ideas into something far better than we could have imagined. It never felt like a cookie cutter design. I can't say enough good things about Sarah! From start to finish, she made the design process so easy and enjoyable. She was incredibly efficient in providing designs and quickly adjusting them as our plans evolved. She picked up on my personal style right away and created spaces that truly reflect what I had envisionedbut couldnt quite pull together on my own.Her online platform made everything simple and organized, from design boards to materials. Whether we were collaborating in person, via text, or through her platform, Sarah was always pleasant, responsive, and easy to work with.She helped with everythingfrom the initial concepts to the final placement of dcorand even provided a quick consult for my daughters room along the way. I also really appreciated her transparency and flexibility when it came to purchasing. She stuck to my budget, sourced beautiful items from real, accessible stores (no crazy markups!), and offered the option to either purchase items for mepassing along her designer discountor let me purchase on my own.Sarah has an amazing eye and a gift for pulling it all together. We downsized significantly and hired Castro Design to help us sort which furniture to keep and what new furniture and accessories to buy to suit our newly-renovated small home. Sarah spent time understanding what we needed and helped with paint color selections, layout, fabrics, and furnishings. Sarah has been extremely responsive throughout our work together. Sarah completely transformed my boring living room, entry way, and powder room into a beautiful, welcoming and cozy space. Sarah started by getting to know my style, and really tailored the design to meet mine and my family's needs. Sarah put together design boards, selected paint colors, furniture and decor, that really pulled the rooms together. Everything flows so perfectly and is so inviting. I get compliments all the time. Sarah is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and a joy to work with! I highly recommend Sarah to anyone who is looking for design services, and will with out a doubt be using Sarah's services again in my home for the rest of my rooms!

Working with Sarah has been an amazing experience! We started with picking paint colors that flowed from room to room and then expanded into a full redo of our living room. She created multiple options with vision board style software making it easy to see how the rooms were going to look. Once we picked our layouts, we went all-in on the design and she helped us through the purchase process (using her discounts). Sarah helped us totally reimagine a space with some challenging layout hurdles that we now love to hang out in.After completing our living room project, we hired Sarah again to design our new living room at our beach house (site unseen). She was able to work virtually on this project that involved some tight quarters and specific design needs. We liked it so much that we simply executed it, knowing that she understood what we wanted. We cant wait to get all of the pieces delivered and ready to live in our new spaces. From selecting a couch to finding perfect decor items, she completely exceeded our expectations. Her vision for a room and putting it all together was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend!We wont design another room without Sarahs creative insights.
