FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Honestly, the vast majority of our pricing is standard, flat fees. You need something replaced, we have a flat fee for that. The only hourly fees we have are bench charges for us working on your machine, and diagnostic troubleshooting. Remote support also has an hourly fee as well, as we have to pay our provider for that. But, other than that, it's X for Y service. We do not like to make things complicated!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a proud member of the IEEE, and IEEE Computer Systems Council; I keep up with the latest technologies by looking online, reading new articles from groups on LinkedIn, and through my college. And, oh yeah, I am in college as well for software development. So, I am continually exposed to new and improved forms of computing prowess!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I built my first computer when I was about six years old, and on my own at eight. I have supported computers since then. The digital world is just so amazing. My work through my high school years (I did professional work even as a freshman), to include my military work all revolved around computers. Thus, for me, a digital job was a natural progression.
