- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we are contacted by the customer, we typically like to come out to their home to take measurements of what they are interested in. Then we will discuss style of doors with them and leave them with brochures. Sometimes we can give them an estimate on site but usually email or call them back with the estimate by the next day. If the customer decides to purchase, we then ask for a deposit (50% of the total job) so that we can order their door(s) and then the balance of the job is due at time of job completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner and our head installer have over 15 years experience in the door industry, selling, installing and repairing garage doors, garage door openers, entry doors and storm doors
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The owner started Valley Lock & Door after his previous employer closed and he could not find comparable work
