FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is a matter of agreeing on what is to be delivered. It is my job to explain exactly what I will deliver for a given price and then deliver it. The person hiring me will be provided full information about what they can expect. They can expect to get everything that was agreed to. They will understand that changes after the fact will require renegotiating the terms of the job. Nothing will be hidden and there will be no confusion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spend an extraordinary amount of time every day studying the latest developments in my field. I belong to user groups and on-line communities, I have dozens and dozens of books, I practically live on Google.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Some people invented the Internet and from that moment on I was a web developer. I was a photographer years before that. I just love anything that lets me be creative and I seem to gravitate toward things that are very difficult to master.
