FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am happy to customize a package for each individual client. I understand the needs of the clients and that flexibility is the key. When clients let me know their budget, I can create a package that fits within it. Typically to book I ask for a 25% retainer fee to hold the date and the remaining balance is split into monthly payments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I use a business management site called Honeybook to keep track of clients and payments. To reserve a date with us, we ask for a 25% retainer fee and signed contract. After that the remaining balance is split up into monthly payments with the balance being paid in full 2 months prior to the wedding. If at any time you need more time added to the contract or if you need us to stay later on the wedding night, we are happy to oblige. Unless an engagement session is also booked, about 2 weeks prior to the wedding we will reach out to you again. We will verify the contact phone numbers, the shot list you filled out for us and the location addresses where we will meet you at the specified times. On wedding day, we will be there 15-30 minutes early and will capture your day as a linear story. We will take formal portraits and the rest of the day will be captured as it unfolds. After the wedding, your photos will be edited and you'll have to patiently wait anywhere from 4-8 weeks (we rarely go longer than 8 weeks unless we are really busy). When your custom USB drive is put in the mail you'll receive an email from us just letting you know it's on your way. The drive will be sent to the address that is on your contract, so make sure the correct address is included. We like to make the process as simple and clear as possible for everyone. We customize our approach as needed for each client's preferences while retaining our own artistic style of photos.
