Alpa Music Studio

As a recent Pennsylvania resident and seasoned educator with over 44 years of experience, I have had the privilege of teaching students of all levels in violin, viola, and piano up to advanced intermediate level. I hold a master's degree in violin performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago. My professional experience includes a 10-year tenure as Assistant Concertmaster with the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra, as well as several years with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the training orchestra of the Chicago Symphony, under the esteemed direction of Daniel Barenboim. In Chicago, I have also had the opportunity to work as a violin and viola instructor at the People's Music School and DePaul University. Additionally, I was the founder of the Southport Performing Arts Conservatory in Chicago, known as SPACE, from 2005 to 2023, and served as the Administrative and Artistic Director of the Music Department of the School of Performing Arts in Chicago. My passion lies in teaching children, as I am deeply inspired by their unique creativity and beauty. My goal is to foster and explore the artistic potential of children, with the ultimate aim of integrating art into their daily lives.
