Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I spent 15 years teaching layout and design (including careful consideration of contrast, repeitition, alignment and proximity) in my Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere classes. Not only do I practice the skills myself, but I have years of experience instructing others on how best to visually represent something specific. The creative aspect of it--no two projects are the same. Each project has a unique aspect to it, as its purpose is generally very specific to the situation and/or person requesting. That makes each project fun, challenging, and interesting.

I came to Kim seeking a new logo for my photography business. After consulting with her, sharing my vision and inspiration for my business, she created several different options for my review. She worked with me quickly and efficiently to revise and hone the logo until it matched my envisioned look. I was impressed with her efficiency and active listening skills. She took great care to listen to my needs and produce what I pictured in my head. I would use Joyous Graphics Lab for future projects and fully endorse their abilities.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly taking Adobe software courses to keep my skills fresh and to learn new ways to manipulate the software more efficiently. Additionally, I have taken a few marketing courses offered through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to help me assist the businesses who I work for appropriately approach and address the market.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project that I am extremely proud of is the updated Freedom Home Care logo that I created for a local home health care business. The owner wanted to incorporate a house, flag, and heart as part of the logo, while also incorporating the color scheme most commonly associated with "freedom." I feel that I met these needs quite well.
