FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have an outstanding receptionist who takes calls and responds promptly to emails. When someone calls, she will answer questions and set up a time for a free consultation. An expert Joyland Consultant will arrive on time, do an entire roof inspection, listen for what the customer's goals & concerns are, and then advise on the best course of action. As soon as we are contracted to do the work, we put the job on the calendar, communicate pre-job details with our customer, order materials, and transfer details to the job foreman. On the day of the job, the foreman introduces himself and the crew, and work commences. There is a final-job inspection checklist filled out once work has been completed to ensure the highest quality work has been done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Manufacturer certification (GAF MasterElite contractor, RPI EPDM certified) - Angie's List Super Service provider - In-house installation training for all employees
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We were familiar with the construction industry, and enjoyed the face-to-face interaction with customers. There was roofing work that needed to be done in the community, so we invested in the market and started out in 1991.
