With what could be best described as a melding of Plato’s statement “necessity, who is the mother of invention.” and Leonardo da Vinci’s, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”, I cut, hammer, twist and polish sterling and gold, to produce earrings, necklaces and pendants with an undeniably clean style. The hallmark of an Amy Ragsdale design is the fluid look and feel, combined with strength, which was created by cold connections. The techniques are uncomplicated, and the style is distinctly recognizable.
