Etalon Construction is truly the best company in the world when it comes to flooring installation! These guys were incredibly fast — they completed my entire house, about 1,500 square feet, in just one day. They are very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Absolutely wonderful experience. The specialist did everything to make sure we were satisfied — arrived on time, explained each step clearly and understandably, and was genuinely friendly and respectful. I chose Etalon because their quote was lower than several other flooring installers. Unfortunately, my experience helped me understand the reason for the lower price.
One issue was that it was not disclosed upfront that removal and disposal of the existing flooring (carpet) was not included in the service. Additionally, the LVP flooring delivered for installation was not the color I originally selected. Since this was a rental property, I chose not to make it a major issue.
After the installation, there were workmanship concerns in every room. When these issues were brought to the installer’s attention, responsibility was consistently attributed to existing conditions in the home rather than the installation itself. Baseboards that had been removed during the project were not reinstalled until I specifically requested it.
I was also surprised when I was asked to pay an additional charge for removing and reinstalling the toilet, even though the bathroom flooring was included in the original estimate. Throughout the project, other unexpected charges were presented that had not been clearly communicated in advance.
I was further disappointed that unused flooring materials and empty boxes were left behind rather than removed at the completion of the job.
Overall, the project did not meet my expectations in terms of communication, attention to detail, transparency, or quality of workmanship. While the initial price was attractive, I would encourage prospective customers to carefully clarify all services, materials, cleanup responsibilities, and potential additional costs before proceeding.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience.
I would like to clarify a few points for future customers. Carpet removal was included in the project; however, disposal of old flooring, leftover materials, and construction debris was offered as a separate service and was declined. Toilet removal and reinstallation is also a separate service, and I acknowledge that I should have communicated that more clearly in advance.
Regarding the baseboards, they are installed after the flooring installation is completed. At the time this concern was raised, the first floor installation was still in progress.
I take pride in my work and always strive to provide quality craftsmanship and honest communication. I appreciate your feedback and will continue improving my process to ensure expectations are clear from the very beginning.
