Drew's Guitar Lessons

Introduction: Hello, my name is Drew. I have been playing guitar for about 10 years now. I offer my students a better way of learning. I never liked the ordinary way most guitar teachers work. I think theory is very important, and I do teach it, but even an experienced musician knows that's boring. I like to make sure my students are having fun learning guitar, not getting bored of it. My lesson plans are based off what my students are interested in. For example, if you prefer to listen to rock music, we start from there. Music is music; once you learn the concept of the instrument and how to read music, any style will be possible to learn. The goal is let's teach people what they want to know and give them the tools and skills to get better on their own with practice. My students all learn at least these: theory, how to read music, chords and basic scales, how to change strings, and of course, we learn songs. I can come to you, or I have a practice space.
