FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our hourly fee for consultation of any kind is $100/hr. However, we base our fees on the scope of the project for larger projects , which we work out with our client prior to each job. Since we deal direct with our vendors, we pass along these discounts to our clients. We provide detailed invoices for any and all work to be performed in advance and are sensitive to budgets. So discussing these parameters early on and communicating along the way is paramount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, a phone discussion to ascertain the project type (i.e. paint consult - drapery & fabric consultation - whole house renovation - kitchen or bath renovation - etc., etc, ) Then, we schedule a time for me to come to the client's home to see the space and discuss the parameters of the job. From there - we will either do research and return with drawings, materials, etc., or the client often comes to our showroom where we have a complete library of furniture, art, accessories, casegoods, upholstery & drapery fabric, etc. However, we base this step on how client wishes to proceed!
