I work with Alicia regularly throughout the year for photography for my website business. She's photographed everything from hand-made gifts for my engraving client, to staff for my human resource client, to interior and exterior buildings for my architecture client. I've worked with a few different photographers in the past, but I found them very difficult to work with. Alicia actually listens to my ideas and overall vision and then courteously offers her professional opinion if she thinks things need to be tweaked. Her work is always on-time and extremely professional and the finished product is always beautiful. I have no reason to go anywhere else and she comes with my huge recommendation!

The companys slogan says it best. At Alicia's Art they focus on professional photography that makes YOU look good. Alicia and her team did just that! My photos are exactly like I wanted them, professional, and with a fast turn around. At the end of the day, I am beyond pleased that I went with a small business versus a local franchise. Alicia is very professional, personable, and friendly. She has a unique eye for beauty and the obscure that melds into a style all her own. My Go-to girl for Product shots and I always get a nice supply of images for other marketing materials as well. It is amazing how much better a pro with the right skills and equipment can far outshine what would seem an easy task to a layman like myself. Very competitively priced, and worth every penny at double the cost.

I hired Alicia to photograph my wedding in France and she did an amazing job. Although the weather was awful, Alicia used the lines in the surrounding architecture and little light that was bouncing through everyone's colorful umbrellas to create bright and unique photos. In some of the images it almost looks sunny. I would recommend Alica to anyone looking for professional and creative photographer in a reasonable budget.

Alicia amazed us! After having our son, my husband and I wanted some new family photos. Since it was autumn we hoped to get some great outdoor shots. Alicia helped us to choose the perfect location and set up the shots so that each were unique and beautiful. When my son became cranky soon after starting, I worried the photos wouldn't turn out well, but Alicia worked her magic and got lots of smiles and giggles. We now have a family album that I will treasure.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I continually take photography classes, keep in touch with other professionals, and I am always reading up on the latest trends.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Great question! I have always had a camera in my hand, experimenting with photography. I took my first photography class in high school and found out that I don't care for the dark room, but I loved capturing the moments and exposing the beauty in architecture. Professionally, I started in architectural photography, photographing for Realtors and Contractors, then expanded to family portraits and self portraits, and then into engagement sessions and weddings/events. Today, I shoot with a professional grade digital camera and I love photographing everything!
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common photo shoots I have currently are family portraits and architectural sessions. This is the best of both worlds, I get to meet new people, have fun getting to know them, and see beautiful architecture come to life in my photographs.
