Very responsive to work request and offered to look at the job within a couple days of message. Communicated quickly through texts.Oct 8, 2018Verified
Said he would meet me, didn't show up, apologized, then ignored my texts. :|Oct 3, 2018VerifiedJW Property development's reply
It's important to note I did not do any work for this man because I chose not to . I would have worked for him but he is a little too far away from me and his office hours made it too hard for me to make it to him for a quote . I, like many other handyman services, am very busy; and fitting in estimates can be difficult. The days I generally do estimates he was not available. So I tried to fit him in between jobs, but I was unable to during his office hours. I did say I would meet Nathan. and on several occasions, I tried to. However, I was unable to make it his location which is a significant distance from where I live. I was regularly communicating with Nathan. When I was unable to contact him within 24 hours he gave me a bad review. I, initially I did respond to him within minutes, but I was unable to continue a extended text message conversation over the entire course of a day. I had to continue my work. Nathan is very difficult to communicate with as he prefers text messages sporadically throughout the day. I do text but I prefer to call to enrich the level of communication and abbreviate the conversation. I regret not getting the opportunity to work for Nathan, but if I had I'm sure his review would be similar to the rest of them who are actually my customers.
Jake did amazing work. He was friendly and affordable and I would use him again and I would recommend him 100% to anyone who wants quality work done at an affordable priceOct 8, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I generally base my pricing per hour depending on the type of work. (70/hr for the first hour) Then the price varies from there. Depending on the type of work. The more technical the work the closer the price per hour is to 70. The reason all types of work start at 70 is that I need to change the price per hour based on travel time and difficulty.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started by flipping houses and doing various projects around the house. When I was flipping houses I took lessons from master plumbers electricians and carpenters to learn the right way to do things. But the way I learned the most was by doing the work.
