I like to think we stand out from other companies because I am very detailed oriented. Also, I take my time to listen to the customer's needs during the construction process. I like to create the vision that the customers may have. See the look on their faces when it all comes together is priceless; it makes me very happy and proud that I'm capable to give them exactly what they wanted. I also like being asked to complete a job that another contractor may have walked out on. I know this can be very frustrating to a customer, and I want people to be able to rely on me when they need a home project to be done with care.

Bruce and Co. was hired to install tile 900 sq ft of tile (looks like hardwood) in my custom home in Chadds Ford, PA. Bruce was extremely prompt, professional and helped me get my project on schedule. After getting the run-a-round from other bidders, I was EXTREMELY happy that I found Bruce. He delivered the project on time and on budget and did an excellent job. This project was not easy as the floor had a transistion from a new family-room addition to the original kitchen floor. The original structure was circa 1939 and not completely level. Bruce was able to work his magic to level the floor using an additional layer of backer board and mortar. In the end I had a beautiful floor that was seamless.

the Bruces did a FABULOUS job tiling my great room. 700 square feet of a complicated pattern--the finished product looks GORGEOUS!!!!! They were on time every day, worked hard, communicated with me, provided progress reports and let me know what was going to happen next. They were great with my dog, great with me, and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. Moreover, they took over from a contractor that I had to let go for poor work. the contrast between the two contractors is significant. They handled that well too. Great job, fair price, on time. Can't say enough good things about Harlan custom Contracting.

Look for a person who is very detailed oriented and listens to what the customer has to say during the estimate meeting. This to me shows that the contractor will continue to give the same service while on the job.
