Faith is fantastic! Just in a few lessons, I've improved my tone and worked on my weak vibrato and she even did research on helping me decide on a new flute. She is super professional, fun, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!!

Working with Faith is an absolute pleasure! She is professional, patient, and very knowledgeable about her instrument. As a teacher myself who wanted to improve my woodwind doubling, I left every lesson with my questions answered and with a desire to take my flute playing to the next level.

I like how Ms. Wasson takes the time to thoroughly explain each piece that we learn such as the history of the composer and the music theory involved in each piece. She is also a very patient teacher who answers all of my questions and helps me work through any parts of the lesson that I find difficult.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40 for a 30 minute lesson, $60 for 45 minutes, and $80 for 60 minutes. This includes instruction via Zoom once a week, music in the students requested genre, and supplemental help teaching technique and theory.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to focus on using music that the student loves to improve tone, technique, and musicality. I use a mix of exercises and solo pieces that get the student excited so they experience joy when making music and also learn and grow at the same time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Temple University and Masters of Music in Flute Performance from Royal Irish Academy of Music. I have worked with top flutists such as Jeffrey Khaner of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Sir James Galway, Marina Piccinini and many more. I have over 10 years of teaching experience and have taught absolute beginners to college level music majors.
