FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I hold double doctorates in Theology and Religious Science. Becoming ordained was option that was made available during my studies. I thought "what better way to make my mark" then being available to someone when they had no one.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am normally contacted to perform both Religious and Civil Service Weddings including Same Sex couples, Vow Renewals, Destination and Theme Weddings. I have been blessed with also baptismal and funeral requests. I say "blessed" because I have been able to support families through life changing moments...from the greatest joy to the deepest sorrow. I am honored to be of service to those in need.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I can not stress this enough. Please make sure that your officiant is listed as a service provider in the respective county which your marriage license will be filed. Ask your officiant specifically. If they are not, that does not mean that they can't perform the service. It simple means that your officiant must contact the respective county to ensure that their officiant status is honored. It is their sole responsibility to do this BEFORE any ceremony is performed or paper work is filed. If not, then your marriage license will NOT be honored. You can not do this. It must be done by your officiant.
