Hi this is Andy, Thank you for looking at my profile. I have been a service tech for over 25 years. Working on all types and manufacturer's of equipment. I actually went to school and was factory trained to repair equipment unlike most that fly by the seat of their pants. I specialize in fitness equipment repair. I take pride in what I do unlike most now a days. I do all work myself and take my time to make sure you understand what's going on and that you are happy. Like the old saying goes "You get what you pay for" If I can't fix it no one can! I like when people think all is lost because another company said their unit couldn't be fixed and I tell them its done and ready to use. I enjoy making people happy.

A number of years ago my wife and I purchased a treadmill for all good intent and purpose. Unfortunately, like a number of treadmills, it became a really fancy clothes rack. Recently, life changes for me and my wife predicates the need to promote a healthier life style. Last week I cleared all the clutter off the treadmill and started my New Years resolution a few weeks early. Shortly after walking on the treadmill I noticed the belt was not running straight. Before this caused any problems I sought out help. I was not at all comfortable with the first gentleman I spoke with. I felt like I was being sold on buying a new treadmill. As luck or happenstance would have it "Thumbtack" put me in touch with Andy. I can't say enough about Andy's thoroughness and HONESTY. Andy performed routine maintenance, recommended a really good silicone lube at a great price and because of the age of the treadmill to pay attention to any belt slippage. Thank you Andy!!!

This man really knows his Precor equipment! We had an electrical issue with our elliptical machine which he was able to track down and fix. He is definitely the one who I would call if we had another problem!!

Andy was very prompt and professional. He showed us exactly what went wrong with our machine.Unfortunately, he was not able to fix our elliptical, but that was only because the manufacturer no longer stocks the replacement parts! He let us know this immediately, so we were able to start planning to buy a new one.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge flat rates. They are based on the work needed to be done. Diagnostics within my regular area is $145.00. if it's something I can fix while I'm there and don't need any major parts the total would be between $175.00 & $225.00. This includes the $145.00. If it's just a preventative maintenance the cost is $160.00.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talking to customer and making sure I understanding their need. Explaining the possible solutions. Then giving an estimate for the cost. And finally if all is good setting up an appointment. Payment is expected at completion of job unless otherwise discussed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years experience working on equipment. Factory trained Same in building and remodeling.
