- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of our courses have a standard price; if the dog or owner need additional training after the course, all follow-up lessons are free of charge. In other words, we stand behind our training and will always work with the owner to help them achieve their goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to find out what goals the owner has with their dog, what behavior problems the dog may have and what their availability for training is. If the dog is having more severe behavior problems or if the owner isn't sure what training goals to expect with their pet, we like to set up a free consultation with them. Once we have the appropriate information we will suggest what training course and goals we recommend.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of the trainers have completed a trainer's school for obedience and behavior modification and have received their certifications for those areas. Some are certified as Police K9 Instructors and SAR trainers. Janet is a national competitor in PSA; a 3 time National Champion and 2 time National Runner-Up. She was the 2nd female (8th person) to earn a PSA 3 title on her dog, Zuko.
