What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently completed classes at the Adams County Arts Council to further my skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a creative side. I have been taking photography of my own family and children since 2009. in October of 2014 I paid $65 for two sheets of photo paper. One pose, one background all because my children were smiling. That was the day I started Smiling Irish. Photography should be more than a background and a smile. It should capture a mood and personality. I decided to charge less than most photographers because I believe everyone is entitled to photos of our most treasured gifts, our loved ones.
