FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pet care is specialized and customized to meet the needs of each pet family. While some pricing is standard, such as daily dog walks and pet transport, other services like overnight housesitting are priced based on a number of individual factors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer all new clients a free no obligation consultation visit. We get together, talk about their pet and the care needed. It's important to share health and behavior issues with your sitter and to share your expectations. Not all sitters offer the same services - some provide visits based on time, others based on the number of pets and the level of care needed. It's important that the sitter and owner understand each other's expectations so the pet is comfortable and happy. The best little extra is offering clients, especially those who have never used a sitter before, my free daily text/photo updates. It is that extra reassurance owners love knowing their pet is cared for and happy!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked with animals my entire life. I've been a rescuer and foster home for over 20 years, specializing in those cases of extreme abuse, neglect and behavioral issues.
