Ms. Kathy's Key Studio

Introduction: I am a certified music teacher who can teach anyone ages 5-105. My music lessons include piano, classical guitar, woodwind, percussion, brass, theory, and harmony. I teach in my home or yours (for extra compensation.) Relax and reduce stress by staying in the moment and learning a new skill for fun. I have had experience as school band director, chorus director, church music director, accompanist and took pedagogy classes at Peabody Conservatory of Music. Some teachers play well and can't teach. Some teachers teach and don't play. Some teachers say they can teach because of their experience. This teacher has proven experience that her students can play and play well, have fun, and relate the music to all of life - whether it by art, history, science, math, travel, dress, culture, etc. Students have performed at Messiah College, Etown College, The Forum and service projects.
