I'm a healthy, active 50+ year old male that has been into physical fitness/nutrition for most of my adult life. Over the last few years I had been thinking of hiring a personal trainer, to up my fitness game. I had spoken to a few but didn't hire anyone because the chemistry seemed off. Recently, I discovered Performance Fitness Training, went in for a consultation and liked their ideology. They were thorough in the questions they asked in order to understand my goals and were straight forward with the knowledge/help they would provide and the discipline/responsibility I would need to have in order to reach those goals (i.e. no outlandish promises). I've had a few workouts with a very knowledgeable PFT personal trainer named "Kyle." This young man is very knowledgeable, motivating and easy to talk with. I have learned something new each workout and leave looking forward to the next one. I train with Mike at the gym and he's been so encouraging. His supportive and upbeat attitude is just what I was looking for. I'm seeing results after just a month. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our training programs are month -to -month and we bill on a monthly basis. Our frequency based structure allows us to implement a structured plan of action. The whole goal of a training program is to get results and adaptations occur with consistent, progressive programming. Your Results...Our Business!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?In a (complimentary) consultation we dedicate about 90 minutes with an individual to discuss their health/medical history, fitness/exercise experiences, lifestyle demands and responsibilities and their specific needs & goals. We prioritize and define the essential components of fitness and nutrition in terms of that individual's needs and outline the most appropriate training frequency program and coach our clients on what they need/can do on their own outside of their time with a trainer to comprise their entire fitness week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Over 35+ combined years of experience. Nationally accredited certifications (ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM) and 4 year science degrees.
