- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our typical tax returns are priced lower than your everyday franchise. Clients are usually surprised to receive a CPA prepared tax return for similar or lower prices than elsewhere. We charge based on complexity and amount work involved in our engagement rather than have a fixed hourly charge for our services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by understanding the needs of a new client. We prepare engagement letters to record the scope of the project, our responsibility, the client's responsibility and the agreed upon timeline and fees for the project. We then execute the project and complete the assignment based on the agreed upon criteria in the engagement letter.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We stay up to date with the current trends and updates in the accounting and tax industry. We place an emphasis on education and require that all of our staff members undergo continuing education every year. As a CPA, I also complete 40 hours of continuing education every year as required to keep my license active.
