Introduction: I have an offset printer. I do what no one else wants to: save money and pass it on to my customers! I've been printing for over 30 years now (wow, it seems like yesterday). I had over 10,000 sq. feet in 2 loading docks, ran 24/7, and employed many good people 4 years ago. Now, I've turned my two-car garage into one heck of a print shop. I have 1 Ab Dick 360 w/Kompac T-Head w/Chrestline running an AB Dick Astro1200 envelope feeder, 1 AB Dick Century 3000, a true 2 color 12x18 AGFA SelectSet 5000 (film output 16"x21"), and an HP51000 computer-to-plate system. I do numbering, paper drilling, cutting, folding, stitching, shrink wrapping, etc. I am getting a thermograph machine next month. I also do my own designing. Shipping is not a problem.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think in a conversation about your project or existing projects to your printer you will know right away if he or she has you and your projects in interest OR how much money they're gonna get from you.You want someone that is gonna see your job to the door and know all aspects of the manufacturing process.
