Our wedding was on October 25, 2014. We decided to throw a surprise wedding! You question how we pulled this off? This was one day prior to my 40th birthday so I came up with the idea that we would tell all of our family and friends that my husband was planning a SURPRISE "Back to the 80's" 40th Birthday party for me! We asked that everybody coming to the party wear 1980's attire. The plan was we would then surprise them with a wedding! I have to say I was a little nervous meeting Pastor Mike Wagner because I was afraid he would not be willing to officiate at the ceremony due to the non-traditional style wedding we had planned! Upon meeting him we realized he was the right Pastor for the job! He was very nice, approachable and down to earth! He shared with us a little about his job and his family. He set our minds at ease! He was so willing and excited to participate In our plan! He stayed in touch leading up to the wedding and showed up early the day of to make sure he knew the exact plans on how we wanted to pull this surprise off. He made our experience one we will never forget!
