I’d love to give five stars… the work they did was the fastest turnaround on a project I’ve ever seen.. literally the next day after speaking to them. The issue I had was that I was quoted two prices, one for cash and one for card.. the card was explained as there being a charge on card for being processed which I absolutely get. I elected to pay Venmo as it said that neither of us would incur a charge so I paid the cash amount which was about $200 different. It was seriously not a big deal for me to pay an extra 200 when I’m already paying 5k and I paid it when I was told that i owed the money and I figured it was fine. But because of this a porch project quote I was to get never materialized. I assume it’s over the $200 which I absolutely paid as soon as I was asked (the owner reminded me that he was to get me a quote on the porch shortly after I sent the $200) but then I never heard from them again.

Cody and his team rescued us! We had water leaking from our roof all the way down into our garage wall. We needed it fixed fast, and Cody made it happen. The price was fair, he was highly responsive, and I mostly appreciated that he fully diagnosed the issue and explained what steps were being taken to resolve the issue once at for all. We had a leaking roof up around our ridge vents. I called another roofing company first and they gave me an estimate that I accepted even though they wanted me to get the entire roof redone. They wouldnt return my calls after two weeks after more water was coming in. After I was done dealing with them, I called Cody at Nailem Down roofing. I wish I called him first. He was honest, got the supplies I needed, and they were there that day after they finished another job! He even checked back that weekend to make sure everything was ok. Any roofing issues I have in the future I will be calling Nailem Down Roofing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every roof is different, so every quote is custom. We give free, no-pressure estimates with a written breakdown, no surprise fees, no high-pressure sales pitch in your living room. We offer financing options for qualifying homeowners and discounts for veterans, first responders, and seniors. We also have a discount for customers who pay by check or cash instead of credit card. You'll know the full price before we ever touch your roof.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a free inspection. We climb up, take photos, and show you exactly what we see, good or bad. From there, we walk you through your options and the warranty tier that fits your budget: Nailed Solid, Nailed Strong, or Nailed for Life. Once you give the green light, we schedule the job, show up when we said we would, and stay in touch the whole way through. That's just how we do it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We're an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, which means our crews are trained and certified to install their full roofing system the way it's designed to perform. That certification is also what lets us offer the OC Preferred 50-year non-prorated warranty most contractors around here can't. On top of that, we hold a BBB A+ rating and were named 2025 Best of Westmoreland County. The training matters because a roof is only as good as the people nailing it down.
