Introduction: I have over six years of both math tutoring and tennis coaching experience. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Gettysburg College and am living in Indiana to pursue graduate studies at IUP. I have tutored subjects ranging from algebra to college level physics and statistics. I also have some experience tutoring SAT math, having received a score of 730 myself. I have learned to teach through my tennis certifications, and although I possess no specific mathematics education certifications, all of my students have shown remarkable improvement. I am a PTR certified tennis professional with professional level certification in ten and under tennis as well. I taught at tennis clubs in Pittsburgh for the last two years, including Pennsylvania Tennis Academy where I had the opportunity to work with several top 100 nationally ranked juniors. I have worked with students ranging in age from four years old to retirees.

I teach math and tennis, but I do much more. I feel that being a good person is more important than academic or sports achievements. I try to teach life lessons, always be a source of hope and inspiration, and build my students character so that they may continue to benefit from me even in the time that I am not with them.
