- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our services are economical. We spend, in most cases, 4 hours in the Home. We provide Radon Testing at a discounted price, when inspection services are provided. We will also provide return radon testing (within 2 years of the original test, at a discounted price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send a full packet via email to all new customers. The packet contains the Standards of Practice i follow during all inspections, a copy of my contract, Radon testing information and radon contract. If I am given the inspection opportunity, I contact the listing agent and coordinate the inspection. Once the inspection date is set, the 3 to 4 hour inspection begins! Report is reviewed with the client at the inspection site. Once the inspection is completed, I email the report, in most cased with in 4 hours after leaving the Home. I keep in touch with the customer to insure all is going well and I offer assistance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Occupational health and safety and have been involved with safety and construction since 1984. I provide safety training for my employers as well as adult continuing education at a local college. I certified as an inspector in 2017 with ICA and most recently became a CPI with InterNACHI. I’ve been involved with a number of construction projects with value up to $120ml. Schematic plan to punch list.
