I've had my dog for 7 years, he's been aggressive all that time. I've spent thousands of dollars going to behaviorists and trainers who couldn't help me. my dog finally bit someone and I was told to euthanize him by multiple different professionals after this happened. Daniel was our last hope and within a month my dog and two month old son can be in the same room (with a muzzle of course) and he's still the happy cuddly dog I've raised since he was a puppy. I would recommend this trainer to everyone for everything. new puppy, issues with a current dog, basic obedience for an already good dog - this guy is a literal life saver in my case. best dog trainer I've ever met, and I've met A LOT

Details: 2 - 10 years old • Extra large (70+ lbs) • Private lessons • Aggressive behavior modification • Biting • My home, venue, etc.

My puppy Kiwi and I had such a great experience working with Daniel! From the very beginning, he was prompt, professional, and incredibly friendly. He took the time to get to know both of us and made training sessions fun, engaging, and effective. I could see how much my puppy enjoyed working with him, and the progress we’ve made has been amazing. Daniels extensive knowledge, clear communication, and genuine love for animals really shine through in his work. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled dog trainer!

We cannot recommend Daniel enough! From the very first interaction, he was exceptional—responding to our inquiry so quickly and communicating with us clearly to set up a time as soon as possible. He was very intentional about making sure we got scheduled right away, which meant so much since I am nine months pregnant. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our visit. From the beginning, Daniel was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. During our first session, he taught us so much and completely changed our dog’s life. He not only showed us how to get our dog to listen, but also helped us understand the underlying issues behind his behavior. It felt like Daniel unlocked a whole new perspective for us, and our dog is now responding in ways we didn’t think were possible. By the second visit, we were able to build on what we learned with new techniques, and the value he gave us was incredible. Daniel has truly prepared both us and our dog for the arrival of our baby. He also completely shattered the myth that “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”—our 13-year-old pup has learned brand new behaviors and is consistently listening to them! If you’re thinking of hiring him, don’t hesitate—he is the absolute best. Daniel will not only help your dog, but also give you the tools and confidence to succeed as an owner. We are so grateful for everything he has done for our family.

Working with Dan was a great experience for both myself and my pup! I adopted a 3 month old chihuahua JRT mix, Georgia, who had a ton of energy and a lot of separation anxiety that I was struggling with. By the end of our sessions, she came such a long way in all areas, which I believe we would not be without Dan's training. He provided so many tools, some of which seemed like common sense, but many I would not have thought of myself. His training was just as much for myself as it was for my pup. Dan was fun, professional but super personable, extremely responsive, and has a once a customer always a customer policy. He sends notes at the end of every session as well, so you always have something in writing to refer back to at any time. His scheduling process is also super easy and flexible, making it convenient to work around your busy schedule. I'd recommend Dan in heartbeat to anyone looking for in-home training, as it will not only benefit you and pup in the moment, but for the remainder of your time together.

I found Daniel after 4 years of struggling to help my dog Violet with reactive behaviors on walks. Violet and I visited and had at-home visits with multiple dog trainers, but I saw little to no results. Daniel was the first to tell me that change starts with the leadership of the owner. When I first met Daniel, I appreciated how he valued having honest and very informative sit-down conversations with me- about how dog's brains work, and what Violet needs from me when she is feeling scared or vulnerable. He provided numerous resources, and effectively helped me learn how to better understand my dog's social cues and support her where she was. With time, I am seeing a confident and less afraid Violet on walks, and we can go out in public. I had to start by changing my mindset. Thank you Daniel!!
