From the first appointment with Scott, our remodeling consultant who arrived on time, was professional and knowledgeable, we knew we were going to get just what we wanted .We had a wood deck we loved but it was time to replace so retirement projects would be easier. No more waterproofing or staining necessary with the Trex Enhance.We wanted the exact same design of the original deck. Scott said not a problem. That was what we wanted to hear. We had other contractors tell us there were too many angles, your lower deck is too low or one who was pretty pushy about redoing our lower deck with hard scape. I wanted the exact same design and build, with two railings for safety as we had, and stair lights, period! All of this wanted in a price we had budgeted for.Scott drew up his sketch, took lots of measurements and before he left we had an estimate that was within our budget.Scott told us we would next hear from John, our Project Manager.John texted us with his arrival time and to his word he was here on time. I made notes on his business card he handed menice, professional and made us feel he and his team could do the job. Had a good eye on how to lay the Trex around our angled stairs and how he could work it that our deck would not have a seam down the center. He agreed with Scott on the double frame on the top wider deck and the lower level would have a single frame. We were set and now would just await arrival of materials.The time came for materials delivery and rebuild of deck to start. The dumpster arrived well before the crew so that he could put it where we wanted it. Sammy was an expert getting into our drive and placing it on sleds so as not to mark the driveway.The crew arrived ahead of schedule to see the project and assign tasks. I was amazed how efficiently they popped up the old decking and got all the hardware out. A magnetic roller was used to clean up as they went and in perfect timing for the arrival of the Trex materials. John came and reviewed the job with the crew leader. They understood the plan and got right to work.The men were courteous and proficient at what they were doing. With the precision of true craftsmen, they measured and did checks along the way. We were delighted to see the fluidity with which the crew worked. These men represented the Nexgen name well.Every day the grounds were left tidy and materials organized with safety in mind. We cant say enough about this team. A real pleasure to work with.The project was finished timely, despite some rain .Scott came out to go over the project and to make any notes and check on our satisfaction.This project was finished timely, on budget and above our expectations. We wouldnt hesitate to use them again or recommend them. Photos to follow .

Recently, I hired NexGen to replace my deck. The experience was great from start to finish. Adam Margolis, my sales representative, was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the decision-making process. He listened carefully to my needs, answered all of my questions and guided me through the process of choosing the best materials for my project.Once the project began, John Lemes took over the project manager and insured everything ran smoothly. Communication was clear and consistent, with John keeping me updated on the progress and timing of the project.The final result was beautiful. Be careful what you ask for from NexGen:You will definitely GET IT!From Ashley showing me actual samples and calculating an estimate on the spot, to John listening to all of my medical needs as a retired x-ray tech with trashed knees and making helpful suggestions, to the Construction Crew working like busy bees, while exhibiting expert skills with the tools of their trade and getting everything PERFECT, to the Clean Up Crew that was so thorough you'd never even know a construction project had happened, I'm calling NexGen, NexGEM!I needed stairs that were easier to climb with grabbable railings for my new composite deck and my old, worn wooden front deck. I needed an extra set of stairs making a shorter trip to my shed. I needed my old, wooden back deck to be replaced with a low maintenance composite deck and extended to a bigger, more decent size. NexGen came through like a CHAMP!Other contractors I interviewed never even sent me an estimate days after their consultation.After hearing so many stories about other contractors' NIGHTMARES, NexGen Exterior Home Remodeling was an absolute DREAM!I'm now going to enjoy the relaxing retirement I EARNED, on my NexGen composite back deck that I no longer have to REPAINT each year.Give NexGen Exterior Home Remodeling a chance.I am THRILLED that I did!
