cannot recommend Frankie and Joe at V&S Construction enough! I’d had a vision of removing the old soffits in my kitchen for a long time, and they truly brought it to life.
One of my biggest concerns was only updating the upper cabinets since our quartz countertops were recently finished. I was worried the old and new wouldn't mesh, but the team helped me select the perfect cabinet options to ensure the entire space looks cohesive and high-end.
Picking cabinetry can be incredibly intimidating, but Frankie was extremely patient and helpful throughout. He double-checked every measurement and order to ensure total accuracy, which took so much weight off my shoulders.
By the end of the project, Frankie and Joe felt like family. They are professional, meticulous, and a pleasure to have in your home. We already look forward to using them again for many more home updates!

I wish I could give these gentlemen 10 stars. First, the tub to shower conversion is beautiful and extremely well constructed. Frank and Joe kept me updated every step of the way. I especially appreciated that they let me know in advance the exact time they would arrive each day. Frank worked with me to order the components I needed, and his responsiveness to questions was immediate. Joe did an awesome job with the tile and shower door installation, despite the challenges that my older house presented. These gentlemen are professional, thorough , kind and a lot of fun too. I couldn't be happier with my new shower. I'm looking around the house for more projects; their contracting skills are all you'd want in an improvement project.

We needed some trim work done to cover a settlement crack along a tray ceiling that I had not been able to repair. I posted the request on Thumbtack and got a few replies with hourly rates. I contacted a couple of the contractors because I wanted to get more than an hourly cost to do the work. I described the scope of the work to each contractor and said that I wanted to get a more concrete estimate. Joe Valentino of Valentino Construction and Design estimated the job would take about 3 hours to do. I agreed on the hourly rate, and I told him I would get the material and prime and paint the wood to be ready for him. We agreed on a date. Due to circumstances beyond our control that both Joe and I had, the work got delayed by about a month. Finally, a date was set. Joe said he would get the wood and prime it. I agreed.
Joe and his helper showed up at the appointed time and got to work. They were meticulous in their work. Furniture was covered or moved and tarps were laid over the carpeting. Four hours later the work was done. Beautifully, I may add. The trim work was done and Joe had even given it a couple of coats of paint to finish it. Both my wife and I loved it. They cleaned up and vacuumed the carpets. Furniture was put back in place.
I asked Joe what the cost would be. He told me that we had agreed to the three hours of labor and the cost of materials so that would be it. Fantastic I thought; a man of his word.
I would highly recommend Valentino Construction and Design to anyone needing carpentry work. They are friendly, do great work and are reasonable with their pricing. I give them 5 stars!

Joe and his brother did an excellent job installing crown and base molding for us. Their workmanship and attention to detail was fantastic. They even repaired and touched up our existing molding without even asking. I will definitely be hiring them again for future projects.
