I booked Modiste for a small local move. Pros: I needed to move within 48 hrs and they made it happen. I spoke to Shaquil to review my moving needs, pick/drop, and furniture assembly. Shaquil and another worker came to do the move. None of my items were broken/damaged. The price didn't change from what we agreed. Cons: initially, I scheduled the move for 10 am, but Shaquil requested to move it up to 9 am the night before. I agreed and was at the pick up location by 9 am. Shaquil and his team didn't arrive until 9:30 am and they didn't update me on the arrival delay. To change the move time, arrive late, and no communication is not professional. I appreciate Shaquil and his team for moving my items but I don't appreciate the lateness and no communication.
