We had a great experience with Daniel who was out to diagnose an issue with our tenant's gas stove/oven. He made it out to assess the same day I requested the work. He kept us in the loop regarding the parts on order, and went back out to perform the repair within hours of the parts coming in. I appreciated the responsiveness and priority service we received. The technician arrived on time and quickly identified the problem with my old dryer - the belt needed to be replaced. He accomplished this quickly while explaining the problem to me; also saved me a lot of money with a repair rather than buying a new dryer. We were very pleased with Freezing Cold Appliance Repair. They were very responsive and knowledgeable., and also friendly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our diagnostic service fee is $50 for all appliances (but it is $100 for stackable washer/dryer units and double ovens). It is $100-120 for commercial units. After we check the unit we will give you estimate with price for the labour and parts, if any are required to be replaced.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon as we get in touch with you and you decide to go on with us we just need your details, brief description of the problem. Then we will agree on the best time for our visit. Also we will notify you when a technician is on his way about 30 minutes before arrival, to be sure that you are available. Then after diagnostic the technician will provide you with the quote. If you approve it and decide to proceed with the repair then the technician will either repair the unit just on the spot or if the parts required are not available you need to pay a deposit for the parts and then the technician will come again to complete the repair. If you decide not to repair the unit you need to pay the applicable service call fee.
