- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
WRITING researching subject matter and constructing the article within specified word count Mini article (blog entry) 150 200 word count $5 delivered in 5 days Short article 250 350 word count $8 delivered in 5 days Medium article 400 450 word count $10 delivered in 7 days Long article 550 700 word count $12 delivered in 7 days Very long article 750 1000 word count $15 delivered in 10 days EDITING - correcting punctuation, verb tenses, spelling, grammar, and run-on sentences 3 cents per word. This is based on word count function in your MS Word document. $30 per hour. Work that requires heavy editing will be charged by the hour. The cost will be based on the estimated time after reviewing document. (Approximately 250 1,000 words per hour) $5 per page for the 1st 10 pages based on a double spaced 12pt. document. For subsequent pages there will be a 50 cent reduction up to 30 pages. $8 per page for the 1st 5 pages based on a single spaced 12pt. document. For subsequent pages there will be a 50 cent reduction up to 15 pages. Pages with text covering less than 25% of page will be combined to add up to a full page for billing. Discounts are available in excess of 50 pages. Ask me at time of consultation. PROOFREADING - (Your previously edited work) correcting spelling and typos. $1 per page of a standard formatting (250-300 words per page)

I do keep updated on current trends in the field by subscribing to relative groups, attending seminars, and completing non-credit courses. In addition, I read, read, read.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Before blogs existed, I did newsletter and magazine articles mainly as a voluntary service; then I started getting requests for customized poems or verses for greeting cards and more. Otherwise, I do Biographies for entertainers, resumes and website content.
