I first met Lorna after reading her incredible poetry. I was mesmerized by her power of word usage. I was so captivated by her creative style that I had to read all that she had published. Over the years, she has been a very valuable resource because of her incredible ability to direct and cultivate my own writing talents. Recently, she has entered the children’s marketplace. This expanded her value to use and consult with, as her professional approach has been quite enlightening while adding great richness to my writings. I look forward to using her unique talents in all my future writing.

I've known Lorna for 12 yrs. I think I've read almost everything she's ever written, except the bridal stuff. You will rarely find as dedicated a professional as she is to her craft. Ive known her to be continuously seeking improvement in all areas wherever it's possible, and to never relax on her accomplishments. As soon as one project is finished she's off to working on the next few. I've seen her ambitions grow wonderously with each accomplishment which has been a wonder to behold. She is very fair minded, professional, and personable when working with a client. Lorna is definitely someone to stay in touch with and work with if you're lucky enough for her to have room in her schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do keep updated on current trends in the field by subscribing to relative groups, attending seminars, and completing non-credit courses. In addition, I read, read, read.

Before blogs existed, I did newsletter and magazine articles mainly as a voluntary service; then I started getting requests for customized poems or verses for greeting cards and more. Otherwise, I do Biographies for entertainers, resumes and website content.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would want to have an editor or writer who would provide the following: * quick turnaround * take my work seriously * have respect for my goal * protect my privacy
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I have liked writing since my childhood, but never considered it as a potential profession. Somehow, no matter what I did, it would involve writing in some way. By the time I approached age 50, it was evident that writing was going to be a significant part of my life. It started with love, then progressed into full blown passion.
