Hi, I’m Melanie, owner of Memorable Events by Mel. I bring over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to every event I work on. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University, and my career has been built around service excellence, organization, and creating thoughtful, well executed guest experiences. My background includes nine years working high end weddings and private events at a luxury resort in San Diego, where attention to detail and guest experience were always the priority. After moving back home, I transitioned into Food and Beverage Management at a hotel and later into General Management within fine dining restaurants. While those roles strengthened my leadership, operational, and service management skills, my passion was always in the event space. That passion is what ultimately led me to create Memorable Events by Mel. Today, I bring that same level of professionalism, structure, and care to events throughout Northeast Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Professional dry hire bartending with a polished setup and smooth service flow. • Event Planning & Consultation Full service or partial planning support for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and charity events. I assist with timelines, layouts, and overall event logistics. • Day Of Coordination & Event Management On site coordination to manage vendors, staffing, setup, timelines, and breakdown so your event runs seamlessly from start to finish. • Decor Support & Balloon Design Creative decor support including balloon installations and styling. I am happy to assist with design direction or connect you with trusted vendors to bring your vision to life. • Staffing & Vendor Coordination Coordination and management of bartenders, servers, and event staff to ensure consistent service and smooth execution. Pricing & Consultation My event services begin at a $400 minimum. Pricing is customized based on the type of event, guest count, and level of support needed. Consultations are complimentary, and after an initial conversation, I provide clear and accurate pricing tailored to your event. Our wedding would not have happened without Mel. We had a 50 person wedding in which Mel was not only the coordinator, but the person that planned, set up, tore down, announced, played music, literally everything. Mel did all of this without complaining even one time, not to mention, she did all of this herself. We did not realize how big the task was until the day of but she never once made us fear about it, even after seeing a uhaul full of decor. We were able to have a wedding that was not your typical wedding all because Mel helped us pull it off. Mel literally met with us for hours on the phone before hand and even made our decorations. When I tell you that you need to choose Mel, I truly mean that she will put her heart and soul into your day. She will treat the wedding like it’s her own with her time, care, and even getting upset with you when things don’t go your way and then continuing to fix them. Mel is simply the best. Her price was incredible. We cannot wait to continue using Mel for birthday parties, gender reveals, baby showers, etc. We truly created a friend!

Mel was the best wedding coordinator to work with! She made my daughter’s rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and wedding reception come to life! My daughter said the wedding weekend was perfect - and that was in part due to Mel’s execution! I give her the highest recommendation!!
