FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is built around one goal: giving you a roof that lasts — not just one that looks good for a little while. We’re not the cheapest, and we don’t want to be. Cheap roofing usually means shortcuts, warranty problems, or early replacements. Our quotes include everything your roof needs to meet code, qualify for full manufacturer warranties, and hold up for decades — not just the basics. We’ll never lowball a quote just to win the job and then surprise you later. We walk through potential hidden costs up front, like decking repairs or city code requirements (yep, Lancaster has a few quirks), and we build our quotes around real-world conditions, not wishful thinking. We don’t charge “consultation fees” or tack on surprise charges later. And if your roof needs something unexpected once we open it up, we’ll show you photos and explain your options clearly before touching a thing. Bottom line: We price for clarity, quality, and longevity — not gimmicks. That way, you know exactly what you're getting, and we can stand behind it for the long haul.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have an outstanding receptionist who takes calls and responds promptly to emails. When someone calls, she will answer questions and set up a time for a free consultation. An expert Joyland Consultant will arrive on time, do an entire roof inspection, listen for what the customer's goals & concerns are, and then advise on the best course of action. As soon as we are contracted to do the work, we put the job on the calendar, communicate pre-job details with our customer, order materials, and transfer details to the job foreman. On the day of the job, the foreman introduces himself and the crew, and work commences. There is a final-job inspection checklist filled out once work has been completed to ensure the highest quality work has been done.
