Finding the right photographer for documenting a wedding is incredibly important and often difficult. When we met Danielle, we knew she was the one! At our first meeting, she was incredibly friendly, yet professional. Danielle made a genuine effort to get to know us individually and as a couple. On the "big day", Danielle kept me calm and feeling comfortable in front of the camera. The photos capture the day perfectly. I am so thankful for her talent and eye for documenting the special moments and the tiny details (where lots of brides put a lot of thought and effort!).Sep 5, 2013
Danielle did a great job at capturing our wedding moments. She was able to select the perfects spots and angles for our photos and was completely unobtrusive for the entire event.Feb 15, 2012
I can not say enough about Danielle! She is such a talented photographer and she captures everything from the big moments (first kiss, first dance, etc) to the smallest (little ones telling "secrets", a loving glance from the parents, etc). The most amazing part is that you don't even realize you're being photographed, so she truly captures the real emotions of the day. I highly recommend Danielle and as I have told her many times, she is my photographer for life!Jan 25, 2012
Danielle was a delight to have as our photographer and very professional through and through. She was available for candid shots during the preparation for the wedding and took fantastic shots throughout the festivities and made everyone look good. She even caught shots which we had no idea would end up as some of our favorite photos of our big day. She was joy to have around throughout the day. We would like to share our highest regard for Danielle and the work she did, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who could utilize her photography talents for an event in the future.Mar 23, 2011
Danielle was wonderful with every aspect during our wedding weekend. From the rehearsal dinner to our wedding/reception, she was able to capture all the amazing moments. She brings great attitude and experience to her work. With her documentary style of photographing, my husband and I can experience our wedding day every time we view our photos. You will not be disappointed with any aspect of her work, from the big day, to the quality of the pictures, as well as the great work on her albums and prints. I would recommend Danielle to anybody who wants to capture a special day!Mar 15, 2011
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I am a trained artist and can back that up with a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Delaware. Because of my creative background and the need to have control I was very particular when it came to picking out my own wedding photographer. There is a reason for everything in life and most of the time you don't know it until later down the road. I was lucky enough to find the perfect wedding photographer for us. He was able to capture our day without being directive or intrusive. We eventually became friends and soon he invited me to shoot a wedding with him to see if I liked it. I of course did and 4 months later I started my own business and continued to be a second shooter photographer for him. He took me under his wing with his 20+ years of experience and taught me all he knew. We continue to shoot together every chance we get.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Photographing weddings in a photojournalistic style is what my company provides. Engagement sessions are available upon request.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure you meet with more than one photographer to find out who you would best want to work with. You should be as comfortable to have them there as you would a guest.
