Our children have been taking piano lessons from Amy for over 6 years. She is a talented, dedicated and professional teacher with an obvious love of music that she passes on to her students. We highly recommend her as a music teacher.Dec 14, 2014

My two children and myself have been taking lessons from Amy for the past year and a half. She works wonderfully with young children and adults. She is very patient and we enjoy our piano lessons with her. She also does a great job with organizing 2 recitals every year.Apr 8, 2015

This Bill Evans jazz admirer has resumed his piano career after a fifty plus year intermission and only through Amy's patient guidance will I begin to reach my goal - which of course is not to play like the great master but to at least imitate the tunes in some passable fashion. Only Amy's mix of humour, skills, and patience will make this goal possible as it's obvious my expectations exceeded reality. You would think someone who played "passably" in early teens could"pick up" where they left off". Not as I had hoped. Anyway, Amy's seeing me thought my trials and tribulations and I woouldn't ha ve it any other way, wiwth anyone else.Jan 1, 2015
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$25/half hour $40/45 min. $50/60 min. I have a Referral Program! What this means is that any student of mine, who refers someone to me and they start taking lessons, then the student who made the referral will get a $2 discount off of each of their lessons!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The 1st lesson is the "getting to know you" lesson where I find out about their musical history, involvement, and progress. What are their strengths and weaknesses. If the student has no current knowledge, then we just start from the very beginning with a lesson book that is correct to their age group.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been teaching piano lessons since 1996. I have been teaching singing lessons since 2008. I have a Bachelor degree in Music Education from West Chester University.
