FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All work that I perform is done by time and materials. My labor rate is $40 per hour with a 1-hour minimum charge while on site. A half hour minimum is used for remote service and off site service. I perform most of the work that I do on site at the customers residence or place of business. It is possible though to bring equipment to me for service or get remote assistance. If I come to you for service there may be a service call fee depending on what you address is. Triple E Technology is based in Perry County, Pennsylvania and serves Perry County with no service call fee. We serve Cumberland, Dauphin, and Juniata Counties with a $30 service call fee. We also serve Fulton, Franklin, Adams, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Berks, Schuylkill, Northumberland, Snyder, Union, Mifflin, Centre, Huntingdon, and Blair Counties with a $95 service call fee. The service call fee for outside of the above counties is $0.90 per mile per round trip. All service call fees include vehicle travel expense, travel labor expense, tolls, and parking fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we must discus the issue/project at hand and find out if I can perform the necessary work. If I can, we will discuss pricing and time frames. I have every customer agree to a set of terms and conditions. I have an in person copy and an online system to handle this. The terms and conditions lay out my pricing schedules, has protections clauses for both Triple E Technology and the customer, and furthermore answers many common questions that come up at some point or another.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The work that I perform is not rocket science. The most important thing for any IT technician is raw hands on experience. I have collected almost 10 years of quality hands on experience which has allowed me to grow and develop my business. In the end the hands on experience has truly prepared me for the next repair/project that awaits no matter what it is.
