I'm a short middle-aged female who understands the concerns people have if they are new to martial arts, if they are non-athletic, or a bit older than you might expect a martial arts student to be. I have no agenda except helping clients determine and achieve their self-defense goals. I enjoy empowering people who may have thought of themselves as unable to defend themselves without weapons. I also enjoy empowering people who may have thought of themselves as completely non-athletic.

It was a hobby, one in which I've developed considerable expertise.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask to see them doing self-defense techniques with another person, so you can see the actual physics of the moves.
