Review Responses: Trudy: You chose to use more expensive materials so naturally the cost was higher than original quote. I didn’t charge you anything more in labor cost, although the new materials chosen are more difficult/timely to install. Otherwise, it was great meeting you and your husband. Usama: Your initial discription of the job was insanely underestimated. You said you had old window already removed and the new window would fit perfectly. This was not the case. We had to take out the old window and custom build new framing for the new window. It took 4 hours, with a helper, and you paid me $75. I had over $180 in materials. Once I realized that you were not going to pay, we left, but before we did we finished weather proofing the window. All that was left was to install a fascade. There was no way I was going to buy more materials. You robbed me and it’s a shame Thumbtack won’t reimburse me for the materials.
