Hi, my name is Dennis. Along with my sons Dennis Jr. and Jason, we have been providing affordable, dependable DJ services since 2003. Prior to that, I have performed in various bands since the early seventies. We can proudly say that we left every wedding or party with very satisfied customers. Your Wedding DJ When you meet with us, you'll quickly realize that our priority is helping to make your wedding a personal experience that you will cherish for the rest of your life. We are eager to listen to what is important to you. Together, we will walk through your wedding and plan each step of the way as you want it to be. You can make all decisions or we are there for suggestions. Whatever is best for you. With so much to plan and prepare for, you shouldn't have to worry about the DJ. We humbly realize that we only a part of a bigger picture that includes the venue, how many guests and how reserved they are, photographer and caterer considerations. We believe all concentration should be about how wonderful your day is, and how excited you and your new spouse are as you start the rest of your life together. OPTIONS: Live vocals/guitar; I sing and play guitar acoustically or to background tracks. Fiddle; for something different, I can provide an hour of old time fiddle tunes before dinner. We welcome any song or song list you submit. We want to play the music you want! We welcome all requests, and we accept "no-play" lists. How long have you been in business? DJ since 2003, in bands, and solo. since 1972 How many WEDDINGS have you done? Dozens; from firehalls, backyards to Genettis' (formal) Are you the DJ who will be at the reception? Either I, or my sons. No army of DJ's or outsourcing. What type of equipment do you have? Behringer amplifier, Mackie mixer and effects. Peavey guitar amplifier, Peavey dual 15 or Carvin bins with EV speakers and horns, lights Laptop computer, cordless mic Do you bring back up equipment? Spare laptop, Secondary music source, mics, mixer, power amp and cordless mic. How much is your deposit/retainer? $50.00 What do you wear? Dress suit/ tie or smart casual, will dress accordingly Can you explain how you conduct the evening? This is what you could expect, unless you direct us differently. We would be there before your guests arrive, dressed in suit and tie, playing low volume music, and asst. soft sounds such as Kenny G. If you choose so, we will announce your wedding party and will have a cordless microphone ready if your best man would like to toast. We will continue with un-intrusive music until your dinner is completed. When you're ready, we would then dim the house lights, and play your personal wedding song and whatever you have instructed to play for the wedding party and parents. We then light the dance floor, and build a party atmosphere. We welcome all requests and have experience reading people, doing our best to follow what people want. For example, if slow dances are the trend, we may tend to play a few more of those. Optional Cake cutting/Bouquet throwing/garter belt/ dollar dance tradition if instructed. We play continuously until your wedding is over! We work the crowd! Some are more laid back than others. We will watch what music seems to work best based on our experience over the years.
