- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a straight shooter when it comes to price. To be honest, my company has the longest tenure in the Lehigh Valley. I have done well over 1,000 installs and everyone was done by myself. I don’t have employees and prefer to do the work alone, to assure I know it’s done right. With the experience I have, I am on the low end of the quotes. I know this because I get told what others quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I walk the customer thru on where the Radon system can go. I make every attempt to make sure the system outside is in a good spot and doesn’t look obnoxious. Any and every question will be answered before the installation begins.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent a week in Buffalo being educated and passed the Mitigation and testing exam. I chose to Remediate and never pursued the testing. Every two years we take several courses in order to renew our certification. I have renewed 6 times, so I have taken dozens of courses on every aspect of Radon.
