Needed a quick solution for structural issues while in the process of building a new addition for my house, which involved a cathedral ceiling. Jared Weber came out within one day for an on-site inspection/consultation. He provided proper rafter & collar tie placement and recommend correct studs & headers for window support. He was also able to quickly calculate the loads for my ridge beam(s) & my French door header... so that I could confidently move forward with my project. Would highly recommend Weber Engineering for homeowners in need of safe, professional and affordable solutions for structural concerns. I highly recommend hiring Jared if you are in need of a structural engineer. As background, we are first-time home owners who jumped into the deep end by buying a rather large 90+ year-old house. We had a very rough first year of home ownership filled with expensive, unexpected repairs. We truly thought we may have purchased a money pit. I was losing sleep over wondering if something was wrong with the structural integrity or foundation of our house. I finally reached out to Jared to get a professional opinion, and it was the best money I’ve spent. Jared replied in a few minutes, scheduled our appointment for the next business day, and arrived right on time. I asked him to bear with me, as I had a ton of questions for him and would be taking notes on everything. Jared walked through the entire house with me from top to bottom, listened to all my concerns, looked at every “potential problem” that kept me up at night, and explained everything about our house with such expertise and detail. We were fortunate to just be anxious new homeowners, and nothing was wrong. Jared was incredibly patient, knowledgable, and understanding as he talked me through everything. I’ve already recommended him to close friends if they need a structural engineer, and would absolutely reach out again if we need another visit.
