c&h small engine fixed a 2000 sears riding lawn mower for me that i got when my grandfather passed away, the machine was sitting in a storage unit in monroeville for about 10 years it was in great shape just had flat tires would not start and the brake was acting up, the guys got it fixed and running and i was cutting my lawn the same week i dropped it off, be aware that if you call during spring and summer time call back time will be at a min of about 4-5 days and not 2-3 days because this is generally the peak time of the season and when i was calling around i was shocked to find some other "pro shops" were telling me it would be at least 3-5 weeks until i got my machine back to me, overall i am satisfied with their service and quality of work, they even showed me the old parts they replaced and they only use oem parts and no chinese knock off stuff which really impressed me.

i had 4 machines fixed by C&H Small Engine, they fixed my stihl chainsaw, a sears craftsman lawn mower and leaf blower and my mtd self propelled snowblower. they fixed each machine in according to the time i dropped each off. i had all 4 done in about 12 biz. days from the time i brought them into their shop. all machines ran as they should after i picked them up and the customer rep. chris was very understanding and knowledgeable about my machines. this will be the only place i go from now on since i used to go to the big million dollar dealerships and had to wait weeks if not months to get my stuff back and the dealerships were of the opinion take it or leave it and did not care about your satisfaction. C&H Small Engine is a independent repair shop not affiliated with any brand and they can tell you what is good and what is bad quality wise because they seen virtually everything and are able to give you an unbiased not paid by the manufacturer opinion on lawn and garden equipment brands and types. the lawn and garden equipment dealerships i used to go to will only give you the usual company party line stating their equipment is the best and all others are sub quality.

i have a toro self-propelled mower that would not start and a couple other issues with the drive and bail control. C&H Small Engine got my mower running.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    we have an upfront deposit for service fee of 40.00 cash or check that must be paid when a client drops off any kind of machine for possible service/repairs, with this deposit fee we will exam and give a written or verbal est. of repairs needed for the machine in question, this is a non-negotiable upfront mandatory fee for all lawn and garden equipment.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    all clients or potential clients are required to call us directly at our given phone number. the reason being for this is we are working 9-5 on clients machines and do not have any time to check emails or text messages from potential clients.
