I am thrilled that I hired Garden Trust Consultants. As a result of our initial conversation in February, I was able to start gathering supplies and planters. Heather selected the right plants to fit my environment, and in April she delivered the plants, and worked with me to pot the plants. My small balcony space is now a peaceful green space for sitting at the end of the day and sipping a nice glass of wine. Finally, even if you have just a balcony, you can make it beautiful. Heather taught me a lot about keeping my green space consistently beautiful.

Heather was a gem to work with on our landscaping project. She created a peaceful, beautiful oasis near our back patio. The plants she chose bring a variety of colors and creates a depth of greens. She is very knowledgeable and a wealth of information in teaching us about the plants as well as allowed us to help install them since we enjoy getting our hands dirty and learning how to care for our new oasis. Heather Andrews with GardenTrustConsultants, LLC designed my neighborhood's pocket park. The area, originally planted by the builders of our community, had been neglected and planted very improperly five to six years ago. Ours is a 55+ community. We, along with others of our neighbors, asked permission from our HOA to adopt this park. After making an evaluation of the area based on sunlight, soil conditions, and local weather, Heather went to work designing an area for us that is both beautiful, functional, and requires a minimal amount of maintenance. Our focus, through her guidance, has been planting both native plants and those that will attract pollinators. She also helped us select a variety of things that bloom and "put on a show" at different seasons of the year. We could not be happier with the result. Our park is beautiful, functional, and a great help to the vegetable gardeners in our area. Our pocket park was selected to be on our community's garden club's garden tour recently as one of the special places to visit in our area. It is amazing to me that Heather designed and we installed this lovely asset just one year ago. Our park and Heather are equally delightful!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are based upon type and length of talk or consult. I tailor each presentation to the audience. I also consult hourly, should you need expert witness testimony for townships, gardeners/commercial properties who want to convert existing properties or need help with plant selection/design.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to their needs and tailor each project based upon their feedback. Whether a beginner needing full support, or a seasoned gardener needing advice, I can help both have a successful outcome. If we are arranging a speaking event or garden tour, I try to understand the group dynamics and tailor a program that will be actionable regardless of the participants gardening knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified master gardener, Penn State Extension - Master Gardeners of Cumberland County. I have been in clinical research for over 20 years, and combine actionable advice with data to maximize yield and minimize effort, using sustainable techniques and practical advice from a lifetime of gardening.
