FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My studio rate for laying down tracks, mixing and producing is $60/hour. Packages are available on request and can be a cost effective option for larger projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have some time to get to know new clients so I can get a good feel for their expectations, goals and hopes for their projects. I encourage new clients to schedule a call or video chat with me so we can talk about their projects, answer their questions and also give them a feel for the studio environment. Once they're ready to move forward, we decide together on a recording schedule that meets their needs and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked extensively on both sides of the microphone for over 20 years. Performing in a number of bands and writing original music has given me a strong sense of what musicians expect when they enter the recording studio. And two decades at the mixing console working as an engineer, producer and collaborator has helped me develop a keen sense of how to get the best results for each and every artist I work with.
